Wednesday provided us with our last break, after watching Star Trek: Voyager with rapt attention and discounting the notion that anything else on the planet mattered, there would be no break time until Sunday. KatKitty was due in with her 3D camera and our world was about to turn virtual. As I awaited her arrival, the Q & A's from investors kept pouring in. Cell phone reports and bomb threats kept pushing her arrival back -- it was well past 1:30am Friday when her richshaw finally pulled into town.

Next day, our attention seemed to be divided everywhere as it seemed that everyone (including us) had something else scheduled that day. Trips became trips with a sidetrip, errands became extra innings as frayed nerves became explosive with the evening's approach. We managed despite all of the delays, to get the ArtCall underway at 7pm sharp.

We used the main space in the Clayton Gallery at 161 Essex rather than the performance space. Matthew Courtney correcctly predicted that "There's just too much on tonite's entertainment plate," as he got share # 40. Gecko promised to whip up a very tempting redesign for share #50.

One by one, on cue, artists began to arrive... Ray X, Marcia Lemmon, Petra, Calmx, Richard Gins, Jonathan Schwaber from Albuquerque with son Max, Margaret Bazura, Baba Raul Canizares with an assist by Clayton. KatKitty and the 3D camera cabaret began its first real session under fire as each artist was photographed in living 3D.
