ArtCall Diary - Entry 8/03/2000
Cat and Mouse
Box - Bowery cat on the job - July 24th, 2000Box - Bowery cat on the job - July 24th, 2000
Box, the Bowery cat, would have none of it. He wasn't boxed in, and he didn't want the ArtCall boxed in financially either. But this was a good time (considering it it raining cats and dogs) to talk about finances. ArtCall artists working on the share redesign have asked about the financial arrangements and this entry is their answer.
Paul Kostabi and Heidi Follin at the ruins of the Adam Purple Building on Forsyth Street - 7/13/00
The above photo was taken on the same day of the cave-in at Irreplaceable Artifacts on Houston and Second Ave. This is the last known picture of Adam Purple's building on Forsyth Street (where we illicitly spent the 4th of July). The lot is now leveled.
The mouse couldn't survive - and neither did Gervase on the Island.
This is my old "unable to survive just like Gervase" mouse, that died the night before Survivor played on CBS. It took two and a half days of feeding cheese to fix the 'puter. I have had this mouse since 1994 and I'm obsessively attached to it. It served as my good luck charm through four different computers. It traversed the country twice with my old 486 box. I'm really used to its shape and finicky eating habits. It has been with living on this Vikings mousepad since the season playoffs of 1998.

I'm kind of sorry I've gotten off what I had hoped to be the topic. Have all you artists forgotten what you asked about in the first place? It's just that things have intervened necessitating a whole different topic and I thought it would make a great lame-ass excuse.

Next Issue: Medical Record Department - We are over the 60% out mark - My issues from the Rolling Rock Festival at Latrobe, PA. - Mad at Paul again - Is Paul dead or was that the walrus?
