Direct from Minneapolis - Venus makes a splash Friday in New York
Summer has come and gone. The ArtCall share redesign is about two thirds finished. Seventy-five galleries are about to come alive with the sights and sounds of gatherings today, thirty more on Friday, and another fifty on Saturday. A veritable cournacopia of offerings can be found in the Jottings section below.

We have been busy since I last wrote. We have been working on making it so that we can bring you slide shows of events quickly after each event. So without further ado, feast your eyes on these 5 shows:

And for those of you tuning in late, you can also visit the very first slide show that we ever did entitled "The Red Spot Outdoor Slide Theatre".

Some of the shows need a touch of editing, but they are worthwile looking at. I am for the most part going to make artcall diary entries slide show urls. Slide shows are about to make a quantum leap as to just how visual art will be able to present itself. When the editing is complete, they will change pictures about every 9 seconds on a 56k modem.

It costs us about a hundred bucks to make one of these slide shows and we shall see if we can make it a part of our revenue stream in the future.

What you are looking at above is the wildest collection of video ever made in New York in the late 80's to early 90's. There is no subject material that didn't get covered. This content forms the asset core of ArtCall's parent company, Webbittown. This tape has been quietly stored away in LA for almost 8 years and now has been reshipped back to headquarters for developement at Internet Content East 2000, at the World Trade Center Marriott from October 2nd to 5th.
